Medical Technology Advisor

Dr. Ian Furst was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where he completed his training as a board-certified specialist of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto. He is co-owner of the “Coronation Dental Specialty Group Clinic” in Waterloo Region, and staff surgeon at several community hospitals in the region.  He serves as a consultant to the Journal of the Canadian Dental Association and SafeReferral software. He is President (since 2018-9) of the Ontario Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a Council member for the National Cyber Security Leadership Council of the Information & Communications Technology Council (Canada).”

Dr. Furst is a consultant maxillofacial surgeon and our medical technology advisor for new applications in complex emergencies.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      



Dr. Ian Furst

Dr. Ian Furst, geboren und aufgewachsen in Toronto, Ontario, Kanada, wo er seine Ausbildung in Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie an der University of Toronto abschloss. Er ist Miteigentümer der „Coronation Dental Specialty Group“ Klinik in der Region Waterloo und Konsultant und Belegarzt in verschiedenen öffentlichen Kliniken in der Region. 
Er arbeitet als Berater für das “Journal of the Canadian Dental Association” und die “SafeReferral Software Group”. Kimberly Gire

Kimberly Gire is a Special Advisor – Innovative Finance and the Founder of Global Women Leaders Strategic Philanthropy.  A career banking and finance senior executive, private investor and Fintech advisor, she was previously the CFO for the retail, business and private banking divisions of Westpac Banking Corporation and has worked extensively in the international capital markets with Citi.  As a strategic philanthropist, Kimberly donates her professional skills and experience in capital markets, treasury and structured finance to support humanitarian and development organizations, including as a pro bono Special Advisor to Global Women Leaders’ cornerstone partner the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), as well as to The World Bank, UNHCR, UNICEF and the World Food Programme.  Having played a key role in bringing the ICRC’s world-first Humanitarian Impact Bond from concept to reality, Kimberly continues to contribute to developing financing solutions for ‘global public goods’ at scale by collaborating with the leadership of humanitarian and development actors, multilaterals, philanthropists and the private sector.  Kimberly is a pro bono Special Advisor to The World Bank’s collaborative Famine Action Mechanism, as well a member of the Editorial Board for the Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society Global Meeting.

As an active not-for-profit Board Trustee for the past 16 years, Kimberly has also served as the Founding Chair of the Red Cross Society of Women Leaders; Chair of the Overseas Support Group for the Australian Red Cross; Advisory Board Member for Be Centre children’s charity; and as a Founding Advisory Board Member and Ambassador for Stewart House.
