Self-employed surgeon and owner of a clinique in Zurich.

Since 1989 on missions for various organisations, such as UN, OSCE, ICRC, etc.; engaged as medical coordinator, project responsible, surgeon in a variety of humanitarian missions in Namibia, Angola, West Sahara, Bosnia, Kosovo, Rwanda, Burundi, Liberia and Afghanistan.

Teaching assignment at the University of Zurich in Political Science (conflict analysis). Diverse range of talks, publications, etc., with a focus on humanitarian intervention in armed conflict.
